在全球化與知識生產高度跨國化的當代，學術思想、文化實踐與公共論述不再侷限於單一國家或語言場域，而是在不同文化與制度環境之間持續流動、翻譯與再詮釋。跨國知識流動不僅涉及學術成果的傳播，更關係到文化價值、歷史經驗與社會議題如何在不同社會之間被理解、接受與再建構。
臺灣長期處於多重文化與政治脈絡交會之處，在歷史、語言、文化與學術交流層面皆呈現高度跨文化特性。近年來，臺灣研究、文化研究與跨文化研究在國際學界逐漸受到重視，臺灣亦成為觀察跨國知識流動、文化翻譯與學術交流的重要案例與節點。
本次研討會以「台灣與世界：跨國知識流動」為核心議題，關注當代不同國家與地區在知識傳播與跨文化交流中的經驗與實踐。我們特別希望透過來自不同學術與文化背景的研究者，分享各國在跨國知識流動過程中的策略、方法、媒介、制度安排以及社會接收情況，以促進更深入的國際對話與比較研究。
本研討會誠摯邀請來自各領域的學者與研究者，從歷史、文學、文化研究、社會學、翻譯研究、媒體研究、國際關係等不同角度，探討跨國知識流動與跨文化交流的多元面向。隨著全球知識生產與傳播方式的快速轉變，數位科技與人工智慧（AI）亦逐漸成為當代知識流動的重要媒介與平台，不僅改變知識的生成、詮釋與傳播方式，也重新塑造不同文化之間理解與互動的模式。因此，本研討會亦特別關注人工智慧與數位技術在跨國知識交流中的角色，例如AI在翻譯、知識整理、學術研究、文化傳播與公共論述中的應用，以及其在不同國家與文化語境中的接收、調整與再詮釋。透過不同國家與地區的經驗分享與比較，本研討會期望促進對跨國知識流動策略、媒介形式與社會接收情況的深入討論，進而拓展對當代跨文化交流與知識流通的理解。
本次研討會歡迎以下子主題：
一、跨國知識流動的理論與方法：探討知識流動、文化翻譯、世界文學、學術場域與全球知識體系等相關理論與研究方法。
二、臺灣研究在世界：知識生產與國際傳播 探討臺灣研究如何在不同國家與學術體系中被生產、傳播與再詮釋。
三、跨國翻譯與跨國文化中介：分析翻譯、文化中介者與跨語言傳播在知識流動中的角色與影響。
四、跨文化交流的策略與實踐：分享各國在推動文化交流、學術合作與知識傳播上的策略與實際經驗。
五、知識傳播的媒介與平台：探討出版、媒體、數位平台與文化機構在知識流動中的作用。
六、跨國學術網絡與研究合作：分析學術機構、研究計畫與跨國合作網絡在知識流動中的角色。
七、知識接收與在地再詮釋：關注知識在不同文化與社會環境中的接受度、再詮釋與在地化過程。
八、AI在跨國知識傳播上的使用策略與挑戰

In the contemporary era of globalization and increasingly transnational knowledge production, academic ideas, cultural practices, and public discourses are no longer confined to a single nation or linguistic sphere. Instead, they continuously circulate, are translated, and are reinterpreted across diverse cultural and institutional contexts. The transnational circulation of knowledge involves not only the dissemination of academic outputs but also the ways in which cultural values, historical experiences, and social issues are understood, received, and reconstructed across different societies.
Taiwan has long been situated at the intersection of multiple cultural and political contexts. In terms of history, language, culture, and academic exchange, it demonstrates a high degree of cross-cultural complexity. In recent years, Taiwan studies, cultural studies, and cross-cultural research have gained increasing attention in the international academic community. Taiwan has thus emerged as a significant case and node for observing transnational knowledge circulation, cultural translation, and academic exchange.
This conference, centered on the theme “Taiwan and the World: Transnational Circulation of Knowledge,” focuses on the experiences and practices of knowledge dissemination and cross-cultural exchange in different countries and regions. We particularly aim to bring together scholars from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds to share their insights on strategies, methodologies, media, institutional frameworks, and modes of reception involved in transnational knowledge circulation, thereby fostering deeper international dialogue and comparative research.
We warmly invite scholars and researchers from various disciplines—including history, literature, cultural studies, sociology, translation studies, media studies, and international relations—to explore the multiple dimensions of transnational knowledge circulation and cross-cultural exchange.
With the rapid transformation of global knowledge production and dissemination, digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) have become increasingly important mediating tools and platforms. They not only reshape how knowledge is generated, interpreted, and transmitted, but also redefine patterns of understanding and interaction across cultures. Accordingly, this conference also places particular emphasis on the role of AI and digital technologies in transnational knowledge exchange. Topics may include AI applications in translation, knowledge organization, academic research, cultural dissemination, and public discourse, as well as how these technologies are received, adapted, and reinterpreted across different national and cultural contexts.
Through comparative perspectives and experience sharing across countries and regions, this conference seeks to advance scholarly discussions on strategies, media forms, and social reception of transnational knowledge circulation, and to deepen our understanding of contemporary cross-cultural exchange and knowledge flows.

1. Theories and Methodologies of Transnational Knowledge Circulation Theoretical frameworks and research methods related to knowledge circulation, cultural translation, world literature, academic fields, and global knowledge systems.
2. Taiwan Studies in the World: Knowledge Production and International Dissemination How Taiwan studies are produced, disseminated, and reinterpreted across different countries and academic systems.
3. Transnational Translation and Cultural Mediation The role and impact of translation, cultural intermediaries, and cross-linguistic communication in knowledge circulation.
4. Strategies and Practices of Cross-Cultural Exchange National experiences and strategies in promoting cultural exchange, academic collaboration, and knowledge dissemination.
5. Media and Platforms of Knowledge Dissemination The role of publishing, media, digital platforms, and cultural institutions in knowledge circulation.
6. Transnational Academic Networks and Research Collaboration The function of academic institutions, research projects, and international collaborative networks in knowledge circulation.
7. Reception and Local Reinterpretation of Knowledge How knowledge is received, reinterpreted, and localized within different cultural and social contexts.
